Top Three Favorite Design Trends for the Kiddos

We know becoming a parent and parenting in general can be overwhelming. So the thought of creating a space that is on trend for your kiddos may seem like a doubly immense project to take on. We’ve scoured the world of kid bedroom trends and brought together our top three favorite styles. We hope this helps in brining the dreams you have for your little ones’ spaces to life! You got this mom + dad.

THINK OUTSIDE THE BED

The inspo spaces below show an incredible eye for design. The way that each designer took something as simple and ordinary as a bed and turned them into a child’s dream fortress is amazing! Even though there is a lot going on in each room, the balance between functionality and fun is well met. I love how each room is so clean yet tactile - there’s so much that I want to touch and feel. Don’t they make you just want to leap through your screen and go play?!

GO BIG OR GO HOME

The world of wall coverings has EXPLODED over the past few years, and we’re loving it. I particularly a big fan of the oversized abstract print like the one below. I think it adds such a fun element to the space that really sets it apart from all the rest.

MINI MINIMALISTS

I think it’s almost natural for the Scandinavian minimalist style to infiltrate into children’s design. In a world where kids are in sensory overload 99% of the time, parents are looking for a way to minimize the effect on their kids by brining this style sense into the home. Besides, I think its just too dang cute anyways.
