A Gem Lover's Mountain Escape
Jewelry designer Meredith West, of Meredith Young Fine Jewelry, and husband Chris spend a majority of their time at their main residence in Arizona, but Park City is a special place for them. Over the past few years, we’ve had the pleasure of working with them to bring together the mountain home of their dreams!
If you’ve met Meredith and Chris, you know they are the sweetest humans - down to earth with a splash of classy glam. We helped them create a space that was exactly that! We love the neutral tones used in their master bedroom, with a side of gold accents to add an element of richness to the space.
They wanted their home to be a comfortable space to host. One of my favorite areas in their home is the front seating area. The blue hues and natural wood elements are very grounding. A vintage daybed is the focal point of the space, flanked by striking gold torch sconces. Art pieces sourced from Gallery MAR adorn the walls.
Transitioning into the living area, your eye is drawn to the horn chair - a stunning work of art from Chris’ travels. The fireplace front and mantel were designed by Root’d and constructed by Ryan of RC Ornamental. More of the couples’ art collection is displayed here.
Moving through into the dining area, your gaze falls upon a zinc topped table with driftwood pedestal bases, funky chartreuse upholstered side chairs with nailhead accents, and head chairs with cat-like instincts. Oh, and let’s not forget the beautiful agate chandelier.
